HP Folio 13 Ultrabook – Ultra Thin, Ultra Light

“ULTRABOOK” means thin and light premium notebooks. HP’s current latest contribution in this category is HP FOLIO 13, HP has designed this Ultrabook to appeal to both mainstream and business users. It is a thinnest and lightest Ultrabook around. The main attraction in HP Filio 13 is excellent performance and battery life, a fetchingly minimalist design, and a typing experience

Compared to other Ultrabooks, the Folio 13 has solid design and structure. The outer body and lid is made of aluminum and deck sport a brushed matte silver treatment that resists fingerprints. The aluminum lid offers good protection for the screen. The Bottom part is soft-touch, which makes it easy to grip. It is 12.5 x 8.4 x 0.8 inches and 3.2 pounds
It includes USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI, Ethernet, the extremely important media card reader and headset jack.

The Folio 13′s backlit keyboard has well-spaced keys. They made of soft-touch material that managed to keep them feeling relatively comfortable to the touch. It is 14-inch notebook with solid performance and an attractive design. But if you want to buy this notebook you have to spend little more from your pocket.

Toshiba Satellite M645-S4055 is latest Multimedia Notebook by Toshiba. The Design of the Notebook is very pretty, edges are smooth. It is a mixture of smooth and textured glossy plastics.The exterior is covered in what Toshiba calls the “Fusion X2 Finish in Charcoal. This Fusion X2 Finish Our textured design truly stands out and really looks very attractive. It is a combination of Core i5 450M CPU, 4GB of RAM and 500GB HDD, Nvidia graphics and the bright, clear, 14-inch, 1366 x 768-pixel display. An Nvidia GeForce GT 330M GPU with 1GB of dedicated GDDR3 memory is the source of its gaming prowess. This is one of the price of this Notebook but I think Its worthy. Intel Core i5 gives smart performance and solid speed.

The M645 has a 14-inch diagonal display with LED backlighting and 16:9 aspect ratio. The over all quality of the picture display and screen is very good. The backlight is bright, contrast is sharp and colors are good. The display resolution is 1366×768 like other mainstream notebooks.   There are two dedicated USB 2.0 ports, gigabit Ethernet (wireless is 802.11n), VGA, HDMI, and a combination eSATA/USB 2.0 port. The Audio quality of M645-S4055 is best because of Dolby Advanced Sound and Harmon/Kardon speakers. It will give you WOW effect in Windows Media Player.

From my side I can say that, the design of the Notebook is very attractive. And Keyboard is well organized. We can give thumbs up for design. The performance is also very good. But there is only one problem, Screen display and everything is good. But screen protection is very weak. We need to take care of screen. We can’t put more weight on screen; there are chances of damage, Otherwise Toshiba Satellite M645-S4055 quite good and reasonable Notebook.
